Cow Cow Heaven LLC is a private family ranch at 14820 Gibralter Rd, Anacortes, WA 98221. Founded in 2024, it is owned and run by Rick Thompson and family, with a commitment to steady care and a close connection to the place.
Our property sits on Fidalgo Island near Anacortes, with pastures and barns that make room for the practical work of ranch life. The land is tended through the changing seasons: fences checked, grass managed, and spaces kept ready for the animals who depend on them.
Horses and a small herd of dairy cattle are at the center of the daily routine. Mornings and evenings bring feeding and checks; in between there is barn care, pasture maintenance, and attentive horse care and training. The work is hands-on, familiar, and never quite the same from one day to the next.
We operate as a working family ranch rather than a commercial farm. Our focus is the well-being of the animals and the thoughtful upkeep of our home and land. Cow Cow Heaven is private property and is not open to visitors without an invitation.
